Organized an excursion of outstanding students to standard laboratories within the project "Social activity and development of students in educational institutions" implemented by the International Eurasia Press Fund. IEPF President Umud Mirzayev told the students and the management of the Institute why they chose this department for the excursion, as well as the importance of the implementation of the educational project. Tamerlan Mammadov, the chief specialist of the training sector of the Legislative Metrology Department of the Azerbaijan Metrology Institute, gave detailed information to the students about the activities and importance of the Institute.
Then the students and the IEPF delegation visited the Institute's "State Standards of Density and Viscosity", "State Standard of Density Quantitative Unit", "Inspection and Calibration of Physical-Chemical and Optical-Physical Measuring Instruments", "Inspection and Calibration of Electrical and Radiometric Measuring Instruments", “Testing and calibration of temperature measuring instruments”, “State standards of time and frequency”, “State standards of mass”, “Ethylon dosimetry established within the framework of Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)”. Excursion participants were given detailed information in the standard laboratories.
Students in the laboratories of the Azerbaijan Metrology Institute of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy said they saw world-class equipment for the first time and thanked the IEPF team for organizing the tour. The meeting was attended by 19 students who participated in trainings at Baku State University, Sumgayit State University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Baku Slavic University, State Economic University, Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry and Baku Higher Oil School.
