Trainings continue within the project "Social activity and development of students in educational institutions." The next trainings for foreign students were organized at the International Eurasia Press Fund.
The Fund hosted a meeting with students from Khazar University, Baku Slavic University, and Azerbaijan Medical University. John Ayomide, an employee of the IEPF's Programs Department, informed foreign students about the project "Social activity and development of students in educational institutions" and the work done. He noted that the aim of the project is to involve students in improving their social activities in higher, secondary special, and vocational education institutions, their comprehensive development, and performing useful works for the society, realizing social responsibility. Within the framework of this project, discussions were held on bringing together foreign students studying in Azerbaijan, establishing relations with relevant agencies to solve their problems, the current state of education in Azerbaijan, the development of foreign education, and the benefits created for them. Also, one of the main topics was to expand the scope of students in both the educational process and social activities, to make them more interested in their specialties, to be active, to develop their scientific and other creativity, and to understand the practical importance of knowledge.
IEPF Vice-President, well-known TV journalist Gunel Gozalova, advisor of the organization, prof. Ahmed Sami Elaidi instructed students on “The right choice of career. What to do when job opportunities are limited? ” the topics.
It should be noted that the implementation of the project “Social activity and development of students in educational institutions” implemented by the International Eurasia Press Fund, the winner of the grant competition “Support of public initiatives for the development of education” announced by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan is successfully continued.
In 38 trainings covering various topics held at Ganja State University, Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, Sumgayit State University, Baku State University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Baku Slavic University, Azerbaijan State Economic University, Azerbaijan Tourism, and Management University, and the Office of the International Eurasia Press Fund, 654 students participated in the project. At the same time, meetings were held with Azerbaijani students who applied to the IEPF through the website telebexidmet.az, as well as with foreign students, and such meetings continue.
