The educational project implemented by the International Eurasia Press Foundation continues successfully. A meeting with foreign students was held at the IEPF within the project "Social activity and development of students in educational institutions".
The event was attended by 24 students from 14 countries studying at the Azerbaijan Medical University. John Ayomide, an employee of the IEPF's Programs Department, informed foreign students about the project "Social activity and development of students in educational institutions" and the work done. He said the aim of the project is to improve the social activities of students in higher, secondary and vocational education institutions, their comprehensive development and involvement in doing useful work for society, recognizing their social responsibility. It was in this project that discussions were held on bringing together foreign students studying in Azerbaijan, establishing relations with relevant agencies to solve their problems, the current state of education in Azerbaijan, the development of foreign education and the benefits created for them.
Also, one of the main topics was to expand the scope of students in both the educational process and social activities, to make them more interested in their specialties, to be active, to develop their scientific and other creativity, to understand the practical importance of knowledge.
Within the framework of the event, Esmira Jabbarli, Inspector of the Main Department for Regulation of Migration Processes of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 2nd degree migration service employee, answered the questions of foreign students. He instructed them to take the right steps to eliminate the causes of the existing problems. One of the main questions was related to rental housing, registration, extract documents. Another problem was the increase in rent for foreign students. In addition, despite the fact that in some countries there is a state university, there are problems with the non-recognition of the diploma of AMU. Participating in the meeting organized within the project "Social activity and development of students in educational institutions", IEPF President Umud Mirzayev said he would support them in addressing issues related to migration and other issues. Deputy Dean for Work with Foreign Students of Azerbaijan Medical University, Associate Professor Niyazi Hajizadeh said the meeting of the IEPF within the educational project was very important for them, and thanked the head of the IEPF and the project team on behalf of the AMU leadership.
It should be noted that the implementation of the project "Social activity and development of students in educational institutions" implemented by the International Eurasia Press Fund, winner of the grant competition "Support to public initiatives for the development of education" announced by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 904 students were trained within the project. At the same time, meetings were organized with Azerbaijani students, as well as foreign students, who applied to the IEPF through the website telebexidmet.az and on their own initiative.
