Trainings are being successfully continued within the project "Social activity and development of students in educational institutions". This time, trainings were organized at the head office of the International Eurasia Press Fund for students of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and Baku Slavic University, as well as for students who want to join the trainings held within the project.
At the IEPF, trainings were held on the author of a number of international projects, the head of the Program Department of the Fund Khudaverdi Guliyev presented “Project writing and management”, the specialist of the Information Security Department of AZINTELECOM LLC under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport Zulfiyya Nasirli, as well as the head of the Cyber Security Department of the relevant organization Elshan Ismayilov, presented ” Development of digital skills. Cybersecurity" topics.
Students were instructed on project documentation, budget planning, rules for writing local and international projects, proper project management and time allocation, implementation plan, project evaluation criteria and accountability, risks in the implementation process and their management. At the same time, they have been taught the most important steps in information security. It is said that there is a great demand for digital talents in the ICT sector. In order to close the growing gap between the digital skills that employers need and the number of candidates with the required technical knowledge, professionals from all fields, even those without higher education, were instructed on the importance of acquiring such digital skills and what to do about it. The importance of cybersecurity, which has become a global problem, and ways to protect oneself in cyberspace have been key priorities in training. The aim is to improve students' social activities, increase their awareness and involve them in community service by understanding their social responsibility.
It should be noted that the implementation of the project “Social activity and development of students in educational institutions” implemented by the International Eurasia Press Fund, the winner of the grant competition “Support of public initiatives for the development of education” announced by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan is continued.
Within the project, 22 trainings were held with 299 students from Ganja State, Sumgayit State, Baku State, Baku Slavic Universities, as well as Azerbaijan State Pedagogical and Azerbaijan State Agrarian Universities.
